Engineered wood acclimatisation: how long before fitting?

Most suppliers recommend **48–72 hours** acclimatisation inside the property (dry, normal living temperature). The goal is to reduce movement after fitting.

Practical tips

• Keep boxes flat, indoors
• Avoid storing next to radiators
• Finish wet trades (plaster/paint) first

Ask your fitter

• “What acclimatisation period do you recommend for this product?”
• “What humidity/temperature range are you expecting?”
